Why Aspen and Snowmass? If you have never been here before, then there may be a few things you've never experienced. In Aspen and Snowmass, you'll have the choice of four mountains to ski, all within minutes of each other. You can try your gold medal style on "America's Downhill" course or ride the same terrain ghosted by Winter X Games athletes year after year. You can ski the longest run in Colorado (4,271 vertical feet) or tour a working silver mine, 2000 feet inside Aspen Mountain. Here you'll find the on-mountain service to be the best anywhere. Apres ski is, of course, Legendary.

Snowmass is the resort that offers families and friends a tremendous place to stay and ski together. Aspen's neighbor, a short 11 miles up the road, is a cozy village nestled on the slopes of one of America's largest ski areas. Snowmass has been designed with the perfect vacation in mind. 90% of the accommodations are slope-side providing you easy and convenient access to the ski mountain. Snowmass has 2,500 acres of impeccably designed ski runs, providing all skiers the most natural and diverse skiing terrain of any ski area anywhere. And guess what? Aspen, Highlands, and Buttermilk are only a quick and free (until 4:45pm) shuttle ride away.

Aspen Mountain is one of the classic and most challenging mountains to experience in America. Skiers everywhere aspire to ski Aspen Mountain, which, founded in 1947, just celebrated its 60th Anniversary! With three high-speed quads and an average of 2 skiers per acre, Aspen Highlands not only sports terrain for all levels of skiers, it is highlighted by some of the finest extreme terrain in Colorado and scenic views of the Maroon Bells (the most-photographed mountains in Colorado).
